Free Tibet Boycott Beijing Olympics

There are a lot of people in this world who would love to bring freedom to this peace loving Buddhist Himalayan nation called Tibet. This year, the year 2008 Beijing, China is hosting the summer Olympics. This should have been the perfect leverage rest of the world should have used to put pressure on China towards this path. And yet, summer Olympics are almost here and not even a single sole is speaking about “Free Tibet”. “Where have all the rockers gone” who were doing concerts for this very end result. Communist China has been occupying Tibet since 1951 and till President Nixon’s visit to China United States was helping Tibet for this very end result. So are you trying to tell me that if we could have gotten cheap labor from Russia to make anything from happy meal toys to computers there would not have been a cold war? United States boycotted the Olympics in Russia when their forces attacked Afghanistan. People are forgetting Tiananmen Square and the red Chinese communism in the midst of their economic growth. People don’t’ be forgetting that the happy meal toy your kid is playing with or the computer that you are typing is potentially made by political prison labor who wanted freedom in their own country. People could be so selfish and forget everything and show a blind eye if they are the beneficiary of all the benefits that is coming from the China who are known for the inhuman treatments towards their own people. Human beings are connected, killing one is like killing part of you”, so in the name of peace we just need to get along with each other. So to the people of this wonderful world, who loves freedom and want every being on this planet to have the same privilege and say it is one giant voice “Free Tibet” and let us all boycott the Olympics in Beijing.
